181EIP – EthernetIP Interface

The 181EIP communication module is an IP67-rated module that can be interfaced to any controller for operating RFID components over EthernetIP. Its connection block supports a bus topology (for both network and power) which makes it ideal for direct-mount conveyor applications. Up to 2 readers can be connected to each 181EIP (and operated in parallel mode).

The integrated switch allows multiple EthernetIP modules to be installed in star or bus topology. Each application can then be built up quickly and inexpensively

The 181EIP provides a full featured RFID command interface which utilizes the acylic messaging services inherent in EthernetIP. Cyclic I/O for each reader channel is also provided which exposes such information as Tag Present, Ready, Command_Acknowledge, etc.
