Siemens and Electro-Matic helped Kuka Assembly to meet their goals for modular manufacturing project, as Siemens and Electro-Matic were able to provide integrated control using a distributed architecture over a common Ethernet network. Using Profinet protocol instead of having to use two or three different networks, enabled us to deliver a distributed system with integrated safety.
